Hello diary, this'll be the 2nd time im using 'you' again after shutting an earlier account late last year! This time round, its about a girl from my class (2s13) whom i've been chasing after a'levels 2007! I had liked her for a few months before A's but dare not say or do anything for fear of causing both of us to lose focus on the most important examinations in our lives. Anw, its the first time i 'advanced' so far in this game of love and i did things which i never done before, i surprised myself!
Looking back, i've known her the longest in my class since she was my OGL the day i stepped into college! Strangely so, i remember teling myself i'll never fall in love with her! But then again, never say never and fast forward 2yrs, she's the one that is capable of making my heart skip a beat! Strange isnt it? How love crawls up on you?!
Last X'msa (2007), it got to be the most memorable one for me since i did the sweetest thing ever to a girl! This may not mean anything to some but to me, it has to be! =) Still fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday, i remembered myself panicking over what to buy for her with x'mas 3days away! In the end, my memory serves me right and i remembered her favourite cartoon character being piglet! (the pink pig!) In the end, i burned a hole in my pocket when i settled on a 20' piglet soft toy. After buying, i proceed to the toughest part of the event-wrapping it up. After much thinking, I decided to wrap up the gift exposing the ears! Cute? haha
I spent a damn long time wrapping up the gift as it was my first time! The fact that it was such a BIG and CUDDLY toy makes it all the more difficult! At last, it ended up like this!
I literally heaved a sigh of relief when im done with it. SO proud of myself! =) That night, she was working so i had to wait till 10pm before meeting her. Earlier that day, i had surprised her at her workplace when i 'meet' her to pass her the gift. End up, i could not 'make it' and i passed a card to her colleague when she was out. She finally received the card when she went 'back'. How she felt i don't really know as i wasnt there to witness it. Hopefully she was smiling then.. The card stated the time im supposed to meet her as well as a few x'mas greetings. Again, it was the first time i decorated a card! Still clear in my head, i rmb-ed my heart beating profusely as i went to her workplace preventing myself from being spotted by her.
That night, we finally met, and i passed her the big and small piglet. She was shocked when she saw the ears and it was the first time i saw her laughing so happily when she saw what i had bought and wrapped. After that, i sent her home and that's another first for me!
From then on, she was the one on my mind before i sleep every night and after i wake every morning even till today! Definitely one for the memory...
